The track is raced clockwise on a smooth tarmac surface. Practice is available on Saturday for £1, with the proceeds being donated to a local charity. The race director is Colin Felstead - phone & fax 01753 683701. Parking can be a bit tight. Map is here, and there is one on the WLRC website. Please note that if the weather is wet, cars are not permitted to park on the grass. We did last year and had to pushed out! Cheshire Models will be there - call them if you have specific requirements. AccommodationFrom the website 'At all of the race meetings held at the West London Racing Centre track, we have a burger van which supplies hot and cold food and drink and usually there is a model shop in attendance. Toilet facilities are available and overnight camping is allowed for National Meetings and other two day events when agreed with the Race Director.' Please arrive before 4pm if camping or caravaning. HotelsThere are some listed here and here near Hayes, and some here near Uxbridge. There is a Premier Lodge in Wembley and a Travel Inn in Hayes, both at £50 per night. The Master Brewer is 5 minutes away and has a special weekend rate. Call them on 01895 251199. Heathrow Airport is only 15 minutes away and has many hotels. Try Hotel IBIS on 020 8759 4888.
